Bungendore, NSW – Feb 2010
Today, I went for a nice relaxing drive out to Bungendore, a small country town about 30 minutes out of Canberra. It was a cloudy day and the race was on between me and the thunderstorm that was following behind. The rain caught up about 5 minutes after I arrived, just enough time to capture some great photos!
Established in the 1800′s, the current population of Bungendore is estimated to be around 2400 people.
I love Bungendore for photography because of it’s railway line and country surroundings. There’s an old goods platform and shed that looks like it’s no longer being used. Though I haven’t had a chance to head out there with a model, I think that the area would make for a great outdoor photography set.
